Getting to your User directory

Q: How do I get to my user directory?

A: There is a share called "users" on Biorobots, which will also give you access to your user directory. You will have permission to access the subdirectory with your username in that share.

You should keep the bulk of your files in subdirectoies of this folder. In your user directory, you will also find a "profile" subdirectory. This is where your profile is kept. In that folder, there is a folder called "My Documents". That is a directory in your profile that gets downloaded to the local hard drive of the workstation you are on, every time you log on. The copy of this folder that is stored on the local hard drive can be accessed through the "My Documents" shortcut on your desktop. Changes to that folder will be uploaded to the domain controller when you log off.

Your user directory has also been mapped to the o:\.
