Printing Multiple Pages to a Sheet
Sometimes, it is desirable to print multiple pages to each sheet of paper. In order to do this, you will have to modify the properties of the printer driver for that particular printer. In this example, I will modify the properties of the driver for the HP LaserJet 4. However, all of the printer drivers for Windows 2000 are similar. So, you can use the same procedure for any of the other printers. Bear in mind that you will have to undo this process after you are done printing if you want to go back to printing one page per sheet.
First, open the Printers window. Do this by going to your Start Menu, hitting Settings, and then hitting Printers from the Settings submenu.

The Printers window should pop up. Right-click on the printer that you want to print to, and choose Properties from the menu that pops up.

The Properties window should pop up for that particular printer. Hit the Printing Preferences button.

Another window should pop up. Choose the number of pages that you would like to print to each sheet.

Once you have done that, click the OK button to close that window. Then click the next OK button to close down the Properties window for that printer. You are now ready to print. After you are done, remember to reverse the changes that you have made so that you can go back to printing one page per sheet again.
