Biorobots  Server  How To  Video Editing  Site Map  Email:  Webmaster Configuring the DV500 Control To open up the DV500 Control, go to the Start Menu -> Programs -> Pinnacle Systems DV500 -> Tools -> Pinnacle Systems DV500 Control. A lot of the settings in the DV500 Control have to do with how your equipment is connected to the Blue Box (pictured below). The settings in the DV500 Control should look like the following pictures. Note that the above field will be composite, if that corresponds to how the video source is hooked up to the blue box. Note that the above field will be S-video, if you are using an S-video cable to hook the output of the blue box up to the VCR, etc. Also note that in the above window, you can check the Test Picture box to test whether your monitor/TV is connected to the blue box correctly.
