Making still images from video
Launch Adobe Premiere and import the video clips that you want to work with (see using Adobe Premiere for more details).
Drag the clip from the Project window into one of the video tracks of the Timeline window. Then move the cursor until the frame that you want to make a still image out of is displayed in the Monitor window.

Next, go to the File menu, and choose the Export Timeline submenu, and choose the Frame option.

A window should pop up that looks like the one in the below picture. Browse to the directory that you want to save the image into. Then hit the Settings button in the lower right.

By default, the program will try to save the frame as a TIFF. This is a file type that you want to use if you want very high quality photos. For most purposes, the GIF format is the optimum balance between quality and size efficiency. Choose the file type that you would like to save the frame as, and then hit the OK button.

Next, hit the Save button, and your frame will be saved as the file type that you specified.
