Getting Windows 95/98 to log onto an NT domain

To add your Windows 95/98 machine to the Biorobotics domain, first right-click on the Network Neighborhood icon on your desktop, and click on "properties" from the menu that pops up.

Click on the "configuration" tab in the window that pops up.

Click on "Client for Microsoft Networks".

Click on the Properties button.

In the window that pops up, there will be a box labelled "logon validation." In that box, check the box next to "log on to Windows NT domain". In the "Windows NT domain" field, type "Biorobotics". Then click "ok" to close that window.

Click on the "Identification" tab. In the window that pops up, change the workgroup to "Biorobotics". (this is a step for convenience - it's not really necessary) Then click "ok" to close that window.

Click "ok" to close the network properties window. The drivers will be installed, and then you will need to reboot your computer.
